King County Elections Director Dean Logan yesterday said his staff had used "flawed methodology" but hadn't attempted to falsify a report on absentee ballots cast in the contested November election.

I was stunned when I read that one of their people had said the King County Elections board was aware of the screw-ups that they made with their ballots. I hold the 2004 Washington State election against every single member of the Democratic party, because the person that they wished to represent them in the White House financed part of the recount, as did some other Demoncat minions, err...demoncat hate groups, err... media outlets.

John Kerry's campaign and the Democratic National Committee each contributed $250,000. Another $250,000 was raised in 24 hours after an appeal from a group associated with MoveOn.org, a liberal group that was active in this year's presidential campaign.

Lynyrd Skynyrd has performed for the troops in Iraq too. They've got some decent music too.

I've always suspected something about the ACLU...

According to this page of the ACLU website, their policy states that the right to bear arms applies only to a well regulated militia. They say that gun registration and licensing is permissible. Apparently, they've missed the 10th Amendment, but I digress because I've come up with a better way to deride them.

They don't seem to realize how Title 10 of the United States Code defines a militia. Title 10 states that all males between the ages of 17 and 45 are members of the militia (with certain exceptions, which I'm not going to get into at the moment because they are beside my point of deriding the ACLU) and female citizens that are members of the National Guard. Quite simply, if you're a woman or if you are over 45, then you are not a member of the militia. The ACLU quite clearly says that only members of the militia should be allowed to own firearms. Since I'm a member of the militia, but my younger sister that is also an adult is not, I can only conclude that the ACLU is made up of a bunch of sexist bigots that whose nightmare is firearms in the hands of women, or heck, everybody because then those cretins are likely to be out of a job.

Ok. U.S. Immigration policy is messed up!

Recently, I got to go on a ride-along with police officers, in a local jurisidiction. Anyway, at one point, the officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute involving two people, one of whom spoke little English and the other who apparently spoke no English. This is not a hotel that I'm talking about here. That suggests that they are not tourists. This is an apartment complex, which suggests that they intend long term residence. One person speaks very little English and the other speaks no English which suggests that they are not United States citizens. By very little English, I mean the police had to call in an officer that spoke Spanish to translate.

Guess what the catch is? The cops cannot even ask them for their immigration papers, to determine whether or not they are violating United States law. Well, that kinda sucks. It's racial profiling to ask someone that doesn't speak English and is living in an apartment for immigration papers. Heaven forbid. If they do, they'd probably get sued by the ACLU or some moonbat because they are "abusing" the poor migrant worker that just wants to live and work in peace.

As we saw from 9/11, the INS is fairly incompetent at catching people that don't really want to follow the law. Doesn't it make sense that we allow local cops, since they have the most contact with the public, to ask about immigration papers? It would only enhance our capabilities of locating illegal immigrants by a few hundred thousand officers or so, so it's not too big of a deal.

These are just spur of the moment things. Anyway, on to the interesting stuff.

10. Guns protect us from the animals. What are the animal control officers for is I can just get out my .22 to shoot the neighbors dog that is eating my chickens? A .357 is a waste of money for something like that. Those are for the neighbors.

9. People can protect themselves from the creeps out there too. Yes, contrary to the liberal thinking, there are people out there that are evil. Guns can protect us from those people.

8. Guns are fun! Why do all these liberals seem intent on stifling the fun others have from things that might me dangerous to their little think inside the box way of life? Is it because they have no fun and do not want others to either?

6. Criminals will still get guns regardless of the laws. They don't care about the laws. Why should we give up a right that criminals will enjoy regardless of what the law says?

Crime

Any of you people out there want to take a guess at what causes crime?

I will. Just remember the principle of Occam's Razor, the simplest theory that fits the facts of a problem is the one that should be used.

Anyway, you're probably thinking enough of this scientific gibberish right? Well, quite frankly yes. Just remember Occam's Razor if you read this blog. :-)

Anyhow, my theory for the cause of crime is that criminals simply lack respect for the persons and properties of others.

Yes, it is that simple. You see, if a man steals someone else's car, it's not because he was socially oppressed or some other crock of baloney that people may try to pass off on you. It is not because he was striking out at an oppressor. It is because, he [as a thief] does not respect the right of the other guy to own the car that he earned. Well, he didn't exactly earn the car. He earned the money which he spent on the car. It's pretty much the same thing though.

Does it account for all of the facts? Well, lets look at some of them. Mr. Car Thief dude obviously thought that he had more right to the car than the guy that bought it right? Yes of course. Otherwise he would not have stolen it. In other words, the Mr. Thief Dude did not respect the right or the owner of the car to the car that he had earned. It's just that simple. Teach people to respect the lives and property of others for a crime free U.S. of A.

Islam and Peace

Muslim Arabs will never be able to get along with the West. Why?

Yes, Mr. Abdullah bin Omar is narrating the words that the messenger of Allah said. Muslims are ordered to fight against people like me until we testify that there is no god but Allah. But yet we have heard that Islam is a religion of peace. Their prophet tells them to go fight against people until they testify there is no god but Allah and we are supposed to believe that Islam is a religion of peace?


Abu Yaala Shaddad bin Aws said that the messenger of Allah said :

"Verily Allah has prescribed proficiency in all things. Thus, if you kill, kill well; and if you slaughter, slaughter well. Let each one of you sharpen his blade and let him spare suffering to the animal he slaughters."

Worse yet, Allah is telling Muslims to kill well. I guess the ragheads over in Iraq are not following their religion. After all, there are far more of them dying in Iraq then there are of our troops. But yet, we are supposed to drink the Kool-Aid that Islam is a religion of peace? I'll pass on that Kool-aid thank you very much. Crazy ragheads don't even do their own religion right.

Great, so if I feel no shame about something I can do as I wish? Talk about a situational religion. First it tells people to fight against the unbelievers until they profess belief in Allah. Then it tells them to kill well. Last but not least it tells believers that if they feel no shame then to do as they wish. What do you expect from the repackaged worship of a pagan moon god?
